Home Staging

Home Staging has grown by leaps and bounds over the past ten years.  Statistics show that staging your home before you list with a Realtor helps sell your home faster and often it creates bidding wars that drive the sales price higher than originally listed.  At the very least, staged homes sell closer to asking price and faster than unstaged homes, and isn't that what you are striving for?  We believe most sellers would prefer to NOT drop their asking price after the home has been on the market for 30 or more days.

First impressions do matter.  Realtors and stagers know that a potential buyer often makes their decision within the first thirty seconds of entering your home.  Some even decide outside the home, based on curb appeal.  Still, others can discard your home before they have even entered it by viewing online websites.  Many home buyers do most of their searching online, so potential owners may make opinions based on photos of your home. It's important to set the stage for photos, inside and out.  Your home should be shown off to its fullest potential and we strongly suggest to not have the photos done until after staging is complete.

EPD will assess your home based on several criteria and stage appropriately to have your home's first impression lead to the sale.  Our goal is to assist you in selling quickly and for the maximum profit by reaching out to the widest audience available using all the resources we collectively have to feature the wonderful aspects of your home.  We will give you a detailed report on the day of our visit with suggestions and ideas to accomplish the transformation.  If you decide to do it yourself, we can be available to assist or advise or, if you prefer, we will arrange to do the complete stage to present your house in an appealing way and create that warm space future owners want to call "home".

Potential home buyers will fall in love from the minute they view your home online, drive up to the curb, or step through the front entry.  Elizabeth Paquin Designs stages your entire property, inside and out.

At EPD we always attempt to utilize what the homeowners presently have but, if necessary, we will outsource or purchase items to "fill in" always working within your budget.  It would be our pleasure to assist you in the sale of your home.
